Polyamorous Relationship Counseling

Service Description

Initial sessions for polyamorous partners is FREE! During an initial counseling session for a polyamorous relationship group, clients can expect to work with a therapist who is knowledgeable and experienced in working with non-traditional relationship structures. I will work to create a safe and welcoming environment in which all members of the group feel comfortable sharing their thoughts and feelings about their relationships. I will ask questions to gain a deeper understanding of the dynamics of the relationships and each partner's unique experiences and needs. I will explore any specific concerns or issues that the group would like to address, such as communication challenges, jealousy, or navigating relationships with family and friends. In addition, I will provide information about my approach to counseling and what clients can expect from future sessions. I will discuss any relevant ethical or confidentiality issues, and answer any questions the group may have. Ultimately, the goal of the initial counseling session is to establish a foundation for ongoing work and to begin developing a plan for addressing the polycule's concerns. While it may feel daunting to open up to a new therapist about a non-traditional relationship structure, clients can expect to feel supported and validated throughout the process as I work collaboratively with you all to develop a treatment plan that is tailored to their unique needs and goals.
